They say it's your birthday!
Clearly, this is a group of red-headed TROUBLE!
We celebrated my birthday on St. Patty's day this year. Amis sent me the beautiful roses (to work!) brought I brought them home for the little party.
My dad came over to install new lighting in my kitchen (why is there no photo of that?!?!) and we had some technical difficulties and it took forever. But it's pretty hot now!
I got cards from all the important out of town (state) friends, and truly had one of the best birthdays ever. I feel so loved!!!! Yay!!!!
I think it's going to be a great year....

I'm glad you had a good time. Since I have yet to separate myself from academic life, my birthday has always been overshadowed by school.
I wish I could have been there - it would have been a lot more fun that the grocery shopping I did on Saturday.

And trust me, I understand the academia issue. My birthday is on spring break EVERY year. When I graduated I thought that would be that. No. Then everyone went to grad school, or became a TA, or had or married into their OWN kids who are now on spring break.....
I appreciate the love and high turn out this year!!!
Ugh... I didn't even think about that. In 10 years or so I'll have my own kids who will have school starting on or around my birthday. Bah!
